F-tone has designed the 16-channel DWDM OADM with drop and add wavelengths ranging from C21 to C36, which correspond to 1560.61nm to 1548.51nm. The device supports a west-to-east wavelength range of 1270nm to 1547nm / 1553nm to 1620nm in accordance with the ITU-T G.694.1 100GHZ grid, allowing for maximum capacity within the C-band range.

 

This is a completely passive DWDM device with 16 channels available for both drop and add functions using two fibers. The loss of waves in the west or east direction is less than 3.5dB, while the line loss in either direction is less than 3.3 dB.
