The Generic compatible 400GBASE-DR4 OSFP is a closed finned top transceiver module designed with Integrated Heat Sink (IHS) for use in 400 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 500m over OS2 singlemode fiber (SMF). It supports a max data rate of 425 Gbps with a single 4-channel MPO-12 APC optical connector. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) electrical and optical modulation, the Datacenter Reach 4-channel (DR4) OSFP achieves 400 Gigabit Ethernet through 4-channels of 100G-PAM4. F-tone manufactured DR4 OSFP complies with 400G Ethernet, OSFP MSA, CMIS 4.0, RoHS, IEEE 802.3bs. The DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 400G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. 

 

The 400G DR4 OSFP-IHS is for Ethernet air-cooled switches and support 400G to 4x 100GBASE-DR breakout application.
