The FT-1529Z fiber optic transmitter device, which can be paired with the FT-2529Z, is designed for use with 650nm plastic optical fiber (POF). It provides high-performance and cost-effective fiber optic communication links for industrial, power generation, medical, transportation, gaming, and other application fields. The FT-1529Z is fully compatible with AVAGO's AFBR-1529Z. It supports industry-standard plastic optical fiber interfaces and features a horizontal form factor. The FT-1529Z is compatible with 1mm-diameter plastic optical fibers and 200μm-diameter PCS (Plastic-Clad Silica) fibers. When paired with a 1mm-diameter plastic optical fiber, it achieves a minimum transmission distance of 50 meters. Encapsulated with a high-power LED chip with a peak wavelength of 650nm, the FT-1529Z delivers a typical output optical power of -2dBm when driven by a 30mA current and paired with a 1mm-core plastic optical fiber.
