The FT-1528CZ/2528CZ series fiber optic transceivers are designed for use with 650nm plastic optical fibers (POF). They deliver high-performance and cost-effective fiber optic communication links for fields such as industrial, power generation, medical, transportation, and gaming applications, with an operating temperature of up to 95℃.

The FT-1528CZ/2528CZ series is fully compatible with AVAGO's AFBR-1528CZ/2528CZ series products. It supports industry-standard plastic optical fiber interfaces and features a horizontal structure. The transceivers are compatible with plastic optical fibers of 1mm diameter and PCS optical fibers of 200μm diameter; when paired with 1mm-diameter plastic optical fibers, the typical transmission distance can reach 110 meters.

The FT-1528CZ is a transmitter, encapsulated with a high-power LED chip with a peak wavelength of 650nm. When used with 1mm-core-diameter plastic optical fibers and driven by a 30mA current, its typical output optical power is -2dBm. The FT-2528CZ is a receiver, consisting of a high-gain transimpedance amplifier (TIA) integrated with a photodiode. Its output stage adopts a rail-to-rail structure, with a final output of TTL level. To enhance the stability of the receiver's output pulse width, the receiver chip is designed with an automatic pulse width calibration circuit, ensuring pulse width distortion is within ±20ns.
