Juniper Networks Compatible 800G SR8 QSFP-DD transceiver module supports a max data rate of 850Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 50m over multimode fiber (MMF) with MPO-16/APC connector. The 800 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over 850nm wavelengths. F-tone manufactured 800G QSFP-DD-SR8 complies with QSFP-DD MSA Hardware Rev 7.0, CMIS Rev 5.0, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS compliant), IEEE 802.3df-2024:- 8x100GBASE-SR1/4x200GBASE-SR2/2x400GBASESR/1x800GBASE-SR8 optical interface and IEEE 802.3df-2024:- 8x100GAUI-1/4x200GAUI-2/2x400GAUI-4/1x800GAUI-8 C2M electrical interface. DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 800G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring.
Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the SR8 QSFP-DD achieves 800 Gigabit Ethernet through 8x 106.25 PAM4. The 800G SR8 QSFP-DD is widely used for 800 gigabit Ethernet, data center interconnect, and 800G to 2x 400G SR4 breakout applications.
