The NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 400GBASE-XDR4 QSFP112 transceiver module supports a max data rate of 425Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 2km over SMF with MPO-12 APC connectors. F-tone manufactured 400GBASE-XDR4 QSFP112 complies with 400G InfiniBand NDR, QSFP112 MSA Specification Rev2.0, IEEE 802.3ck, IEEE 802.3cu and CMIS Rev5.0 standard. DDM function is supported on the 400G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) electrical and optical modulation, the XDR4 QSFP112 achieves 400 Gigabit Ethernet through 4-channels of 100G-PAM4. The 400G XDR4 QSFP112 is widely used for 400 gigabit Ethernet, 800G to 2x 400GBASE-DR4 breakout, data center and InfiniBand NDR applications.

 

This 400G XDR4 QSFP112 supports both InfiniBand NDR (IB) and Ethernet (ETH). While not for use in switches, it is designed for insertion into 400Gb/s ConnectX-7/QSFP112-based PCIe-bus network cards to twin-port 800G transceivers in 2x400G IB/EN switches.
