F-tone NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible OSFP224 1.6T DAC is a 1600Gb/s OSFP224 to OSFP224 Passive Copper Cable (DAC) featuring an Integrated Heat Sink to Integrated Heat Sink design. DAC cables offer the most cost-effective, ultra-low-latency, and near-zero power consumption solution for high-speed interconnects, thanks to their simple architecture and minimal components. Built with the Octal Small Form-factor Plug (OSFP) interface, this cable contains eight high-speed copper lanes, each supporting data rates of up to 200Gb/s. F-tone DAC solutions deliver power-efficient connectivity, enabling higher port bandwidth, greater density, and flexible configuration while reducing overall cost and power consumption in modern data center environments.
