NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA4Z00-NS-T Compatible 800G OSFP SR8 (2x400G SR4) transceiver module supports a max data rate of 850Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 50m over multi-mode fiber (MMF) with dual MPO-12 APC connectors. F-tone manufactured 800GBASE-SR8 (2x 400GBASE SR4) OSFP complies with IEEE 802.3-2022 8x100GBASE-VR1 optical interface, IEEE 802.3ck-2022 8x100GAUI-1 C2M electrical interface, OSFP MSA Specification Rev 5.0 Type 2, CMIS Rev 5.0.

 

DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 800G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the SR8 OSFP achieves 800 Gigabit Ethernet through 8x 106.25 PAM4. The 800G SR8 OSFP is widely used for 800 gigabit Ethernet, 800G to 2x 400GBASE-SR4 breakout, data center applications.
