Crafted by F-tone, the 400G Muxponder service card, is designed to support bidirectional communication with 4x100G ↔ 400G optical layer signals. This card efficiently performs multiplexing, demultiplexing, and conversion processes, transforming the electric layer into a standardized 400G rate Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) optical signal. This functionality streamlines the wavelength division multiplexing of optical signals at various wavelengths through the wavelength-combining unit. Concurrently, the card can seamlessly execute the inverse process, converting the 400G WDM signal back into 4x100G electric layer signals. On the line side, the implementation of a pluggable CFP2 DCO ensures adaptability and enables ultra-long-distance transmission using advanced technologies like coherent detection. Furthermore, the card offers flexibility by supporting configurable rates of 400G and 200G to accommodate diverse network requirements.
