Crafted by F-tone, the 10G WDM transponder is equipped with 10 SFP/SFP+ slots and it supports multiple protocols such as 42Mbps-11.3Gbps Ethernet, 1/2/4/8G/10G FC, STM-1/4/16/64, OTU1/OTU2/OTU2e, CRRI etc. It performs 2R regeneration on the incoming signals from 4 arbitrary protocol services, supporting the transparent transmission of any type of service within the 42M to 11.3G rate range. The most common function is to convert 4 client optical signals into 4 Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) standard optical signals, facilitating wavelength multiplexer for the multiplexing of optical signals at different wavelengths.
